Who we are
Astor is a Google Workspace security company based in Wisconsin. We run structured security programs for businesses, helping them lock down identity, email, and file sharing. Our website is astorhq.com.
What information we collect
When you request a Security Diagnostic or contact us through our website, we collect the information you provide directly — your name, work email, company name, job title, and number of users. We do not collect any information automatically beyond standard website analytics.
We use cookies and similar tools to understand how visitors use our site. This includes basic data like which pages were visited and how long someone stayed. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles or sell it to third parties.
How we use your information
We use the information you share with us to respond to your diagnostic request, deliver our services, and occasionally send you information about Google Workspace security that we think is relevant to your business. We will not contact you for unrelated purposes and we will not sell your data to anyone.
If you become a client, we use your contact information to manage your account, deliver reports, and communicate about your security posture.
What we access during a Security Diagnostic
This is worth being specific about because it is central to what we do.
During a Security Diagnostic we request read-only admin access to your Google Workspace environment. We use this access to review your security settings, permission configuration, sharing policies, and connected application permissions.
We do not read email content or message history. We do not open or download files stored in Google Drive. We do not access personal devices or endpoints. We do not access financial systems or any platform outside your Google Workspace admin console.
Access can be revoked by you at any time. We will confirm exactly what access we need and how to remove it before we begin any work.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We use a small number of trusted tools to run our business — including HubSpot for contact management and communications. These providers are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.
We will disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Astor or others.
How long we keep your information
We keep your contact information for as long as you are a client or have an active relationship with us. If you ask us to delete your information we will do so promptly, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain records.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, and ask us to delete it. You can also opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking unsubscribe in any email we send or by contacting us directly.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Given that security is our business, we hold ourselves to a high standard here.
